長いこと更新してなくてすいません！！やっと新年最初の記事！！New Year Eve partyで、Little Barrieを見て来てきました！！
Little Barrie
ノッティンガム出身、現在はロンドンを拠点とするファンク／ソウル／ブルースロックバンド。１９９９年結成。２度のメンバーチェンジを経験し、現在はバーリー・カドガン(Vo./G)、ルイス・ワートン(B.)、バージル・ハウ(Dr.)の３人構成。２００５年、ファーストアルバム'We Are Little Barrie'をリリース。同年、サマーソニックフェスティバルで来日。この時のドラムはウェイン・フルウッドであったが、翌年リリースしたセカンドアルバム'Stand Your Ground'のレコーディング前に脱退（ウェインは現在ソロ活動中）。その後ビリー・スキーナーを新ドラマーに加え、再度サマーソニック０６で来日。しかし翌年ビリーも脱退（現在はElwood Graceのドラマー）、２００８年にバージルが加入した。サードアルバム'King Of The Waves'は２０１０年１２月に日本で先行発売、同月来日も果した。同アルバムはヨーロッパでは今年３月に発売予定。
ボーカルのバーリーはPrimal Screamを始め、Paul Weller, Edwin Collins, Morrisseyなどのツアー、楽曲にゲストギタリストとして参加している。ドラムのバージルは、YESのギタリストスティーブ・ハウの息子で、DJとしても活躍している。
Little Barrie is a Funk/ Soul/ Blues rock band from Nottingham, now based in London. The band consists from Barrie Cadogan(Vo./ G.), Lewis Wharton(B.) and Virgil Howe(Dr.), who joined the band in 2008. They released their first album 'We Are Little Barrie' in 2005 and they did lots of tours in Europe, Japan, Australia and a few gigs in the USA. Then drummer was Wayne Fulwood but he left the band before recording their second album 'Stand Your Ground', which was released in the following year. Little Barrie continued recording and touring with new drummer Billy Skinner but he also left the band in 2007, and Virgil joined Little Barrie in 2008. They made their third album 'King Of The Waves' which already was already released in Japan, and the album will be released in March in Europe.
Barrie also supporting touring and recording of other musicians such as Primal Scream, Paul Weller, Edwin Collins and Morrissey, as a guest guitarist. Virgil is also creating music as DJ. Former drummers, Wayne is working on his solo project, and Billy is currently a drummer of Elwood Grace.

Love Youを歌っているときのビデオも撮ったんですが、残念ながらカメラの調子が悪く良いところで音が消えてしまいました．．．がしかし、画質はよいのでぜひチェックを！！
I took a video when they are singing Love You. Unfortunately my camera had no capacity to record all sounds, so the sounds stop when they made really cool tunes......but I believe it's still a lot of fun to watch!!
リトルバーリー、日本ではかなり人気なんですが、実はイギリスではそこまででもないんです。でもかれらの演奏はかなりすごい！！バーリーのギターテクニックはさすがポールウェラーやプライマルスクリームも惚れ込むだけあります。ルイスはバーリーの変化するギターサウンドに完全対応すべく、しっかりバーリーを見ていて、ものすごーく落ち着いて演奏している。ヴァージルはもぉすごい迫力！リトルバーリーのあとに演奏したバンドのドラムも努めていたけど、ほんとに楽しそうに演奏してました。
もしFacebookをやっている人がいたら、ぜひリトルバーリーと友達になってください！彼らのベージ、他のミュージシャンみたいにファンとして参加するんじゃなくて、普通に友達として申請できます。そして、メンバーが好きなすごくかっこいいバンドのyoutubeを貼ってくれるので、音楽の幅が広がるかも！
