Miles Kane
リバプール、ホイレイク出身のシンガーソングライター。２００４年から２００７年まで５ピースバンドThe Little Flamesのリードギターとして活動。２００７年に解散すると、同バンドメンバー３人とThe Rascalsを結成、ギターとボーカルを務める。また、The Little Flames時代にArctic Monkeysのボーカル、アレックス・ターナーとツアー同行で音楽の趣味や方向性が同じことを知り意気投合、The Rascals結成後すぐにアレックスとジェームズ・フォードと共にThe Last Shadow Puppetsとしての活動も開始した。 The Rascalsは２００８年にアルバムRascalizeをリリースするが、マイルスは２００９年にバンドを脱退、その後ソロ活動を開始した。２０１０年１１月２２日にデビューシングル、Inhalerをリリース。セカンドシングルCome Closerは２０１１年２月２１日発売予定、デビューアルバムは４月２５日にリリース予定である。今年３月にはBeady Eyeのツアーサポートを務めることが決まっている。
Miles Kane is a singer-songwriter from Hoylake, England. Mikes joined a 5-peace band The Little Flames as a lead guitarist in 2004. The band broke up in 2007, and Kane formed The Rascals with 3 members of the former band. While The Little Flames were touring with Arctic Monkeys, he became a good friend with Alex Turner, frontman of Arctic Monkeys, as their mutual love to their favourite musicians and they started a project The Last Shadow Puppets with James Ford in 2007. The Rascals released their first album Rascalize in 2008, but Kane left the band in the following year to start his solo project.
He released his debut single Inhaler on 22 October 2010. His second single Come Closer will be released on 21 February 2011, and his debut album on 25 April. He will also support Beady Eye's tour in this March.

いやー、マイルスケーン、ギターのサウンドがめちゃくちゃかっこよかったよー。出てきた時にはえっ！タートルネック！！とちょっと目を疑ったけれど．．．ギターを下から上に引いてみたり、ストリングを下から上になぞってみたり、すごくかっこいい音を作っていました。ちなみにマイルスのバンドもメンバーもそれぞれ音楽活動をしていて、ギターのユージーン・マッギネスはソロのシンガーソングライター（名前をクリックすると英語のサイトに飛びます）、キーボードのベン・パーソンズとベースのフィル・アンダーソンはCherry Ghostのメンバーです。Cherry Ghostは去年The Coralのサポートで聞いたので、後でブログでも取り上げようと思います。ドラムのジャイ・シャーロックはバンドに属しているかは分かりませんが、とっても可愛かったです。
I was a bit shocked when I saw Miles Kane's outfit at the night....but his music was way cool!!! His guitar technique was awesome, he created various kinds of cool sounds by changing ways of playing. His band members also have their music projects, Eugene MacGuinness (Vo./ G.) is a singer-songwriter too, Ben Parsons (Key.) and Phill Anderson (B.) are members of Cherry Ghost. I don't know whether Jay Sharrock (Dr.) is in a band, but well I know he was very cute.
